

ZEC Functions
The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission conducts and supervises elections for the Presidency, Parliament, and local authorities as provided by the Constitution and electoral law.
Core functions: voter registration oversight with the Registrar General of Voters; voter education; accreditation of observers; collating and announcing results; and recommending electoral reforms.
Subject to the Constitution and the ZEC Act, the Commission shall not be subject to the direction or control of any person or authority in the exercise of its functions.
